this hotel probably has one of the best pools in italy, buffets (breakfast and lunch) are great and it's location next to Porto Cervo (athough taxi (E 20,00) is quite unique
When one askes over E 600,00 for a room per night, guests wil not expect a small, standard room, small balcony and unconvinient bathroom with a shower in the tub.

The hotel is very well designed so as to give every room a private balcony with a view of the sea. It is built from local materials - stone and wood and is very attractive. The facilities are excellent. Best of all, though, the staff are all wonderful and could not be more friendlly and helpful and the food os superb. I would recommend the Colonna Pevero.
Only 2 small things I would change;for me the mattress was too hard and I would have preferred half board to be for breakfast and dinner rather than lunch - if you go out for the day you miss out on the meal included in the room rate.

Breakfast and Lunch was nice.. Employees were friendly and rooms were very clean..
The rooms were not nicely furnished.. Mattress and pillows were so cheap and uncomfartable we all had neck ache for a week after our trip. The rooms are not luxury at all.. Those rooms are worth 150 Eur max. Wifi didn't work the whole time. Aircondition is too noisy since it is pretty old, you cannot open the balcony door since the music played by the next hotel which is a bit far away is like playing in your room, walls are very thin, you can even understand the conversation of your neighbours in the next door!
